Our students had the opportunity participate in the 2nd Edition of the School Research Workshop, conducted by the Amity University Research Committee. Over the engaging two-day programme, Grade 11 students experienced science beyond the classroom through experimentation, data analysis, and research-based learning. The workshop demonstrated how core scientific concepts translate into real-world engineering applications.
Twenty senior students from Amity School Dubai took part in the workshop and were felicitated with appreciation certificates in recognition of their engagement and effort. A key highlight of the programme was the experimental sessions, where students worked collaboratively to collect data and plot velocity–displacement graphs. They analysed and interpreted their findings, transforming observations into meaningful conclusions. Students were also introduced to the fundamentals of scientific research writing, gaining insight into how experiments and results are professionally documented and presented.
We extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Malini, Dr. Ishu Sharma, Dr. Swamynathan, Dr. Siddharth, Dr. Archana, and Dr. Steffy for conducting the enriching workshop. We also thank the EAID UG students, who volunteered as peer learners and worked closely with the school students throughout the sessions.
Our sincere gratitude to our Principal Kapil for his continued support in making this collaboration a success.
